ABOUT ARMADALE SHED

ARMADALE SHED

A Shed is a community run and managed space, in which people undertake activities they want to. The idea of Sheds started in Australia and in the past few years, the idea has spread throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Armadale Shed was officially opened in June 2016. Initially funded by Castle Rock Edinvar, West Lothian Council, Scottish Government and Big Lottery Fund, the Shed is now run by the shedders and has its own charitable status.

Who is it for?

The Shed is for EVERYONE! It is for people and groups in West Lothian and the surrounding areas with existing hobbies and those wishing to try something new. It's a great place to socialise, so if you're not sure about the activities, come in anyway and join us for some tea and a good chat.

What do you do?

There are a range of of different activities. You can try your hand at wood working, metal working and wood turning.
Do you have a new idea for an activity? Share it !!
We enjoy expanding our skills in the Shed so if there is something new you'd like to try, just let us know.
